What is the TDECU Make a Payment service?
This service allows you to make a payment toward your TDECU loan or credit card using an account or debit card from another financial institution.

Which account types can be paid using the Make a Payment service?
Loan and credit cards, less than 60 days delinquent in which you are the primary or joint account holder on, may be paid using this service.
Can I use this service if my account is past due?
Your account must be less than 60 days delinquent to use the Make a Payment service. If your account is over 60 days past due, please contact us at (866) 439‑2575.
I paid off my auto loan using the Make a Payment service. When can I expect my title?
If you are paying off your auto loan, we will release the paper title or e-title 10 business days after your loan is paid in full. Please note that e-titles are printed by the state of Texas and can take up an additional 10 business days to mail after TDECU releases the title.
I received an error stating, “Your account number cannot be verified. Please check for errors and resubmit.” What went wrong?
You may have entered an incorrect loan or credit card number. Please make sure that you entered your loan or credit card number, and not your Member number. If you need your loan account number or credit card number, please log in to TDECU Digital Banking or check your monthly statement.

Are partial payments accepted?
Yes. You can make a partial payment toward your TDECU loan or credit card.
Are principal-only payments accepted through the Make a Payment service?
Currently, we are unable to process principal-only payments through the Make a Payment service. To make a principal-only payment, please visit your nearest Member Center.
Can I use my TDECU debit card, savings or checking account to make a payment?
If you would like to use your TDECU debit card, checking, or savings account to make a payment toward your TDECU loan or credit card, you can:
How can I check the status of my payment?
To check the status of your payment, log in to the Make a Payment online portal and then select the Recent/Pending Payments option, located in the top right corner of the screen.
Can I cancel my payment after I submit it online?
Only payments in a pending status may be cancelled. If you would like to cancel a pending payment, please call Member Care at (800) 839‑1154.
Can I use a credit card to make a payment using this service?
No. The ability to make a payment using a credit card is currently not supported through this service. The following options are supported:

Can I schedule my payment for a future date?
Yes. Payments submitted through the Make a Payment service may be future dated up to 5 days before your due date.
Can I set up recurring payments using this service?
Yes. You can set up recurring payments to your TDECU loan or credit card using an account from another financial institution by calling us at (800) 839‑1154.
What is the maximum payment amount allowed?
Payments are limited to $5,000 through the Make a Payment service.
Is there a limit to the number of payments I can make using the Make a Payment service?
No. At this time, there is not a limit to the number of payments that can be made using this service.
If I am traveling outside of the country, will I be able to access the Make a Payment service from outside the United States?
Yes, you can! This service may be accessed from the following locations outside of United States: U.S. Territories, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Korea, Latvia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Turkey, and Ukraine.
Please note that when traveling to locations not listed above, you may be restricted from or unable to access this service.
